Hello everyone,

                                                                                                        It has been officially a week since wheresjohnny.us left the Undertow Beach Bar proceeding a festive sendoff. I have reached my destination of Telluride, Colorado to meet my Uncle Eric, his wife Janice, and daughters Chloe, and Sophie Doodle for three days of family fun. In that time I have visited seven State Capitols; stayed over in Tallahassee, New Orleans,
Baton Rouge, Memphis, Austin, San Antonio, Santa Fe, and am currently getting ready to hit the sack. They have a big surprise planned for me tomorrow which they have reminded me of all week. I know I have some catching up to do for wheresjohnny.us and I promise to do so as soon as I recoup from the 3,729 miles I have driven so far. With each new turn it has been more enjoyable than I could have imagined.

 I would like to take this time to thank those who have taken an interest in my journey and have allowed me to still be myself.
